| In 1912 Nicolo Alessi came to Tampa from Italy. He brought with him the knowledge of baking and a proud European heritage, which led to the first Alessi Bakery. His son John Alessi carried on this family tradition of baking, gathering awards for his cake decorating. Alessi's delicious cakes have been perfected over the years adding a personal touch for a wedding or any milestone to celebrate with friends and family.
Since he was a young boy, Phil Alessi had a love of baking, being around his father, and keeping involved in the family business to supply wholesale products to companies both locally and nationally.
